Job Description:
A company is looking for an Outpatient Audit Specialist to
support coding quality and compliance assessments in
healthcare.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct outpatient facility encounter reviews and coding
assignments using relevant coding references
Provide education and training to coding staff and clinical
personnel to enhance documentation and coding procedures
Prepare and present audit findings, final reports, and participate
in discussions with client facility representatives
Required Qualifications
5+ years of outpatient facility coding and/or auditing
experience
RHIA, RHIT, and/or CCS credentials are required
Preferred experience in recent academic medical center or level I
trauma center auditing
