Job Description:
Novant Health-New Hanover Regional Medical Center (NH NHRMC) is
looking for a highly skilled pharmacist to serve as its Clinical
Manager. NHRMC is the 9 th largest health-system in North Carolina
with 855 beds and is a level II trauma, teaching community
hospital. The Clinical Manager (CM) will work with other personnel
within and outside the Pharmacy Department to ensure maintenance of
best practices. This will include developing and implementing
direct patient care pharmacy programs that are consistent with the
mission and goals of NH NHRMC. The CM will also be responsible for
implementing quality improvement initiatives using LEAN methodology
and principles. This person coordinates the Pharmacy and
Therapeutics committee as well as its subcommittees. In concert
with other managers, the CM will assist with employee evaluations,
recruitment and training of new employees, pharmacy students and
residents, with a focus on decentralized pharmacists and
technicians.
