  • Unit will accept contracts from 13 weeks+ up to March 15, 2025 (hard stop) to get the unit through the holidays!!
    
  • RTO: 7 days MAX
    
  • Float Requirement: Yes floating is required
    
  • Weekend Requirement: Every other - # of weekend shifts per contract: minimum of 9
    
  • RTO after booking is not allowed and is not allowed to be worked out onsite. Any call offs or additional RTO on unit, could possibly turn into a cancel and DNR.
    
    
    REQUIRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP:

    • Minimum Years of Experience: 2 years of inpatient behavioral health
      
    • Traveler Experience: Unit does not accept first time travelers
      
    • Locals Accepted / Rate Difference: Yes
      
    • Skills: Locked Unit, Medical/Psych, Cardiac arrest / CPR, Medication Administration (PO, RECTAL, IM, IV, SC, etc),
      
    • Certs: BLS and CPI

      • The Novant/New Hanover Behavioral Health Hospital is a 62-bed facility located in Wilmington, NC.
        
      • The hospital is comprised of four units offering comprehensive treatment to adults with various acute symptoms of mental health disorders such as depression, bipolar, schizophrenia, anxiety, etc.
        
      • We provide an environment that is safe and secure for patients to receive therapeutic care and support throughout their inpatient stay.
        
      • Our team of behavioral health professionals include board-certified nurses.
