  • Job Details
  • Registered Nurse position in Cardiac Care
  • Minimum 2 years of experience on the cardiac floor required
  • Required skills include Cardiac Telemetry, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown, Sheath Removal, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Post MI, Pre/Post Cardiac Cath, Manage Cardiac drips, Chest tubes, External CPAP/BIPAP, Nasal Cannula, Non-invasive airway management
  • Contract staff may be required to report to work during a catastrophic event, mass casualty or disaster.
    • Job Requirements
    • Minimum 2 years of experience on the cardiac floor required
    • Traveler Experience: Required unless traveler has more than 24 months of cardiac experience
    • BLS & ACLS certifications required
    • NIHSS certification required
      • Schedule Information
      • Nights only, 36 hours per week
      • Weekend Requirement: 4 per 4 weeks (flexible)
      • Ratios: 1:4 for surgical step down, and 1:5-6 for lower acuity
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Unit systems include Pyxis, EPIC, SBAR
        • Special equipment includes arterial lines, EKG, chest tubes, and more
          • Additional Details
          • Required documents include various accounting and health forms
          • Photo ID required for badge creation
          • Candidates must provide interview availability within 72 hours
