  • Job Details
  • An experienced traveler is needed for this contract and must have excellent critical thinking and trouble-shooting skills, and he/she will be alone at night, responsible for hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis patients.
  • Minimum Years of Experience: 1
  • Traveler Experience: An experienced traveler is needed for this contract and must have excellent critical thinking and trouble-shooting skills
  • Skills: Need acute hemodialysis experience, Baxter peritoneal dialysis experience
    • Job Requirements
    • BLS
    • ACLS (preferred)
    • Minimum 1 year of experience in acute hemodialysis
    • Traveler experience required
      • Schedule Information
      • Shift: 12 Hour NIGHTS. 36 hours only - 6p-6a
      • Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend required.
      • RTO: 7 days MAX
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Acute Hemodialysis unit 9 stations and one isolation station.
        • ICU/PCU and bedside treatments 1:1 (patients on ventilators, titratable IV drips, airborne isolation). Must be proficient to set up, cannulate access or central venous catheter, initiate, monitor, and discontinue dialysis.
          • Additional Details
          • Contract staff may be required to report to work during a catastrophic event, mass casualty or disaster.
          • Days off may be arranged as schedule allows due to department need.
