Job Description:
Role Overview: -Sodexo seeks a -Dietitian Nutritionist -to
provide nutrition care at -Cape Fear Valley Betsy Johnson Hospital.
This position will have -inpatient -responsibilities at Betsy
Johnson Hospital, an 87-bed inpatient nursing bed facility. Service
Areas include medical/surgical/telemetry, critical care, and
pediatrics. Incentives: $5000 Sign on Bonus-Reimbursement for
Academy dues, state licensure fees and CDR renewal What You'll Do:
The Dietitian will report to the System Clinical Nutrition Manager
and will: -
- Maintain responsibility for comprehensive nutrition
assessments/reassessments and counseling of general and complex
patients and their families per the Nutrition Care Process model.

- Actively participate in daily multidisciplinary rounding with
care team members.
- Provide education to patients, as well as staff, and work well
with physicians, pharmacists, nursing, occupational and speech
therapists, and other ancillary staff.
- Be involved in quality improvement and research projects as
opportunities arise.
- Serve as a preceptor for dietetic interns, as needed. -
- Provide coverage for other inpatient dietitians on weekends,

- Be a Registered Dietitian with at least 3 years of experience;
including nutrition support.
- Have strong leadership skills, time management, and
organizational skills
- Possess the ability to creatively problem solve, work
independently with minimal supervision, and make decisions while

environment
- Possess excellent interpersonal communication skills and the
ability to interact with a wide variety of individuals and
groups

Requirement:Master's degree with completion of required coursework
and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council
for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) -For those
eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:Bachelor's
degree with completion of required coursework and supervised
practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in
Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) - -Credentials Requirement:Meets
eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist
(RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will
become registered within 120 days of hire. - In some states and/or
facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of
hireCertification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In
some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is
required at the time of hire -Minimum Functional Experience - 3
years experienced practitioner able to work with minimal
supervision
