Role Overview: Sodexo is seeking a Part Time Dietitian Nutritionist (20 hours/week) to provide inpatient care at Cape Fear Valley Central Harnett Hospital, a 44-bed acute care facility. Service areas include medicine, surgery, and telemetry. This position will also provide support at nearby Cape Fear Valley Betsy Johnson Hospital as needed. Incentives: $3000 Sign on Bonus, Reimbursement for Academy dues, state licensure fees and CDR renewal! What You'll Do: -The Dietitian will report to the System Clinical Nutrition Manager and will: -

• Maintain responsibility for comprehensive nutrition assessments/reassessments and counseling of general patients and their families per the Nutrition Care Process model. -
• Actively participate in daily multidisciplinary rounding with care team members.
• Provide education to patients, as well as staff, and work well with physicians, pharmacists, nursing, occupational and speech therapists, and other ancillary staff.
• Be involved in quality improvement and research projects as opportunities arise.

• Be a Registered Dietitian with 0-3 years of experience.
• Have a willingness to learn with a strong desire to help patients and their families.

Qualifications & Requirements: Minimum Education Requirement:Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) -For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) - -Credentials Requirement:Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. - In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hireCertification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.
