Role Overview: Sodexo -is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Dietitian Nutritionist -to join a team of Dietitians at the flagship hospital located in Pinehurst, NC. This 400+ acute care community hospital system is a rewarding environment that provides comprehensive nutrition assessments with a collaborative team effort. Daily duties include but are not limited to: Medical Nutrition Therapy -for a variety of medical conditions and critical care services, -order-writing privileges, -multi-disciplinary rounding, -quality/performance improvement activities, -enteral access device team, -and -precepting dietetic interns. Clinical Ladder advancement opportunity -available. -Start with 3 weeks' vacation and 3 personal days!Reimbursement for AND dues, state licensure fees and CDR renewal!Money toward continuing education events! -Up to $5000 tuition reimbursement annually! What You'll Do: Provide nutritional care for a variety of inpatient unitswork every 8th weekend providing hospital wide coverageperform quality improvement initiatives such as patient satisfaction rounds and monthly test trayseducate healthcare team member, including physicians and nursesassist with Food Service Management as needed What We Offer: Compensation is fair and equitable, partially determined by a candidate's education level or years of relevant experience. Qualifications & Requirements: Minimum Education Requirement:Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) -For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) - -Credentials Requirement:Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. - In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hireCertification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.
