You will prepare meals in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations while upholding our mission of providing compassionate care. • Prepare meals according to planned menus, ensuring they are nutritious and appealing.
• Review menus and make approved substitutions as needed.
• Assist in serving meals in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen, adhering to all safety regulations.
• Keep inventory of food and supplies, ensuring availability for meal preparation.
• Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure seamless food service.
• Assist in special meal preparation for events or resident celebrations.Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience cooking in large quantities, preferably in a healthcare or long-term care setting.
  • Must possess outstanding verbal and written communication skills and be able to follow oral and written instructions.
  • Ability to follow dietary procedures and prepare therapeutic and special diets.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to work well with others.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
