REPORTS TO: Assembly Supervisor

POSITION SUMMARY:

Produce quality products promptly at the Assembly Supervisor and Team Lead's request.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.
• Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts, and subassemblies.
• Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; and placing and expediting orders for supplies.
• Check completed parts to ensure the highest quality.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area at the end of each job and at the end of shift.
• Maintain a good work environment by communicating with other employees and assisting those in need.
• Basic knowledge, understanding, and use of technology-related resources.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as required or assigned.
• Always adhere to the safety and quality policies.
• Comply with the company's attendance/tardiness standards. JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Good communication and organization skills
  • Stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs. or more on a regular basis
  • Able to read a tape measure
