Pay Starts at $19.53/hr. and can go up based upon experience!

Job Overview:
Facilitate and lead activities concerned with development,
application, and maintenance of production, metrology and customer
claims by performing the following duties:
Responsibilities:
Improve, develop and initiate standards and methods for
examination, inspection, measurement and testing of material used
to manufacture product.
Support the Quality Manager/Engineer function by collecting and
distributing data relevant to specified projects i.e. PPAP Process,
Customer Returns process, etc.
Assure that material meets engineering specification and customer
requirements.
Provide tactical quality support to operations by Investigating,
Troubleshooting and Reporting on both Internal and External
customer complaints .
Maintain records, certifications and documentation for completed
inspections.
Participate and/or lead problem solving events under the direction
of a Quality Engineer.
Disposition material and coordinate with purchasing on supplied
material.
May periodically assist in orienting, training, assigning, and
checking the work of other employees.
Advanced knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, ERP Systems and NCR
System.
Demonstrate advanced knowledge with Blueprint reading and
application of GD&T.
Support additional responsibilities as required.
Requirements:
High School Diploma OR General Education Degree (GED) required and
a minimum of five (5) years quality experience in a manufacturing
environment (prefer machining and assembly background). OR
Associates degree, Technical/Business School Certificate, or
Skilled Trades Apprenticeship and a minimum of three (3) years
quality experience in a manufacturing environment (prefer machining
and assembly background).
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions in English,
short correspondence, and memos, such as supervisory instructions,
safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure
manuals, and work orders.
Ability to effectively share information about job duties in
one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and
other employees.
Working knowledge of advanced mathematics (i.e. statistics,
geometry and trigonometric functions).
Ability to perform these operations using all units of measure.
Core Competencies:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed
but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
Ability to deal with problems involving a few variables in
standardized situations.
Ability to work overtime and assist in other areas as needed.
Advanced understanding of assembly methods.
Capable of utilizing conventional measuring equipment including but
not limited to calipers, micrometers, optical comparators,
microscopes and other types of inspection devices.
Advanced understanding of blueprints and other documents that
define product specification.
Advanced knowledge of root cause analysis (5 Whys, 8D, Fishbone,
FMEA).
Must be detailed oriented and able to prioritize workload as
demands change.
Understanding of manufacturing Lean principles.
Possess advanced computer skills with experience in Microsoft Excel
and Word.
Preferences:
CMM certified (preferred, but not required)

perception.
Use of telephone, computer, radios, paging systems and other

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently
exposed to moving mechanical parts, toxic or caustic chemicals,
airborne particles and vibration from hammering of parts and using
hand tools.
Since it is a manufacturing environment, the noise level is usually
loud due to the different machinery being operated (i.e. forklifts,
hand tools, machines in other departments) and the testing that
occurs. Normal noise exposure in the area ranges from 80-90 dba;
hearing protection is required while on the plant floor.
